Probably you don't realize this, but this "first post" is just the latest in a series of first posts I've made in this particular blog, as well as a Wordpress equivalent. Through the magic of electronic media, that old stuff is long gone, the forgotten, residual bits of information waiting to be overwritten on distant servers. But here I am again, giving this thing another go. What am I so stubborn/foolish? Like pretty much every other blogger out there, I am most adept at blocking out that inner voice that tells me that nobody much cares what I have to say.
Subject matter was also an issue. I was leaning towards computer and technology-related matters, and that will likely still hold, at least in part. But I reserve the right to modify this protocol without any prior notice. Probably sports will make an appearance. Maybe politics if I am particularly sleep-deprived. I also know stuff about other stuff, like European history. So look out for the occasional Reconquista reference. Or maybe not. Okay, I'm done now.
